WHY EVENING
Evening Studios is an independent creative studio founded by sisters Claire and Catherine in Hong Kong. We create images, films and visual worlds across fashion, beauty, hospitality and culture, moving between creative direction, image-making and emerging production methods. Our work begins with something familiar and moves somewhere less expected, with an emphasis on ideas that feel considered, specific and distinctly observed.
Evening Studios takes its name from someone dear to its founders, kept as a small act of remembrance — a link to the intimacy, imagination and closeness that shaped them long before they would one day make things together.
As a boutique studio, we like to work closely and collaboratively with each client. We begin with a consultation to understand the brand, the brief, and what the work needs to achieve. From there, we develop the visual direction together over a series of working sessions, refining the idea and content until it feels specific to the brand and true to the original intention.
We believe the strongest work comes from attention rather than volume. Keeping the studio small allows us to stay close to each project; to understand the brand, follow an idea further, and refine the details until the work feels particular rather than interchangeable.
